Hi all,

Because I read a lot of messages talking about PIC18 here (I know Scott is
using PIC18 too ;-) I've decided to post a link to another web site
proposing development tools (free of course) for PIC18 family :

http://perso.wanadoo.fr/softelec/

For the moment I've just developped a PIC18 programmer under Windows. I'm
porting this one under Linux, and I hope it will be available in few weeks
!!

Also I've created PICOS18 a real-time kernel compiled with the Microchip C18
compiler, based on the OSEK standard. This is a fully-preemptive kernel, not
like SALVO (cooperative kernel)...

Coming soon :
- Task loader for real-time kernel
- Task debugger via RS232 without ICD
- PICANanalyser : CAN bus protocol analyser
- Blackjack game under PICOS18
- RXCAN : servos management on a CAN bus network (aeromodelism)

I'm the leader of a very new french team developping free tools and projects
under Windows / Linux so I hope our designs will help you in the futur.

Regards
Xavier
