For those who might be interested, a GUI front end for picp (Linux interface 
to Pickstart Plus) is now available at

http://home.pacbell.net/theposts

Look for 'gpicp' near the bottom of the page. A screenshot is also available 
there. To compile, you'll also need SDL from:

http://www.libsdl.org
