Thank you. I did go to the source and between that and
looking in to more old Email, I found the reason why I don't see
anything anywhere about the Prime-17. I found a message from Jim
Robertson, himself, in which he says that there were only about 20
Prime-17's made. Gee! I have a collector's item. Anyway, I put
warp13 on the Linux system I use at home and it appears to like what
it sees. It gives the ROM firmware version as well as saying it is
OK. I need to write some PIC application to have something to burn in,
but I don't see anything that looks wrong. This programmer was
designed to program all the PIC's listed in tm4 plus the 17Cxx series.
It may be that I will have to eventually get a PICStart+ to be
current, but the Prime-17 appears to behave as a Prime-13 under the
conditions I am using it now. Assuming it truly does burn the Eprom,
this is a great start.
