To examplify what I mean with 'big blue blob' I have put two pictures
on

These are parts of a picture scanned at 1200dpi and 600dpi in color42
mode using v0.44-2. The blue thing on th left is not in the original
picture. I have no clue on why it is popping up, but I have not seen
in in the 300dpi mode.
