Subject: Plustek parallel port scanner not working

I have a Plustek 9636T parallel-port scanner and Linux Mandrake. I have
tried with version 9, 9.1, 9.2 and now 10, and I can't use it. I tried
all the tips I found on the web but I only succeded once to make it work
as root. I know it is something with the configuration of the driver but
Im lost and dont know what to do. Can anyone advise me?
