Hi,
I have a OpticPor 9636T. It ran very well with SUSE 6.3. Now I changed to Mandrake 7.1
and I have a problem. (SANE 1.0.2)
When I unpack the plustek driver and compile it according to the accompaning HOWTO it
works fine. The driver is build and it is possible to load it (In my case the lamp switches
off after some time, so I know this). Building scanimage works also fine. But there
is no xscanimage though the GTK libraries are definitely installed. I think there is
still a library missing.
OK I'll find that one. Hints welcome.
Another thing when testing with scanimage -L nothing happens. And when starting scanimage
the following error message is diaplayed: No SANE device found.
Could anyone help? Or has anybody had this problem before?
Sorry if this question was already here.
Charly
