First of all, I find it hard to believe that you and I are the only 
people on this list who have this scanner. Anyone else out there? What 
experience are you having with color?

The other thing that occurred to me is that when I did a color scan it 
was a small brochure. Have you tried scanning something small? I have 
already reported here that some things go wrong with this driver when 
scanning a full-size original at high resolution.
