Hi Gerhard,
sorry for my sillyness, but I still have no CD-burner and so I don't have my
backup only on some diskettes. That's also my startpoint.
I made the software konfiguration all like by my old harddisk and mainboard.
SuSE 8.0 Kernel 2.4.18 4-GB

That is new by my scanner, till to the burn of my hd and mainboard I had a
very good scan result.

I installed sane-backends-1.0.7, sane-frontends-1.0.7, Xsane-0.90
and plustek module 0 41 5.
If I compare that with my konfigurationlist from last year, that was my
konfiguration and so I made it this time also.

Yes it is behind the scanner, BIOS is standing on ECP & EPP
Scanner and printer are working.

What must I do for the debug output from sane-backend and the driver.
Sorry I forgot all till now. Is it already long time ago or am I getting old?

Perhaps I can do it tomorrow.
Do you know a trick how I can remove sane-backend, and the driver quick end
easy.
Because sane is not removing all files. There are always 4 file in usr/* and
if I don't remove that, next time I have big trubble.
Hope you can help.
