Hi everybody,

I have exactly the same error (see my post of the last
month).
See
http://www.linuxhacker.org/cgi-bin/ezmlm-cgi?3:mss:2276:200305:eapkgofjklikcfffpebg

I got the line:
"...kernel: parpost-modi: SPP PS/2 EPP EPP(ECP)
PS/2(ECP)"
even after I selected EPP in the BIOS.

Just after I have:
Using EPP-mode
Starting Scanner-Autodetection

And the errors:
p48xxDoTest()
Bank 0 overwritten
found 0 bytes of memory
No memory ! No scanner..

Is there any way to workaround the BIOS setting ? (It
does not change anything between AT, PS/2, EPP et
ECP... :-( ).

Thank you in advance.

Benoît
