Well, I've tried everything.  I have a Dell OptiPlex GX1 Pentium III. 
 The BIOS of this machine only allows either AT or PS/2 for parallel 
port modes.  So, I am not able to choose EPP.  However, I recompiled the 
kernel to eliminate IEEE support, and altered modules.conf, dll.conf, 
and did everything else I was supposed to.  I have a Plustek 9636P 
scanner.  And yes, mov=4.  Anyway, when loading pt_drv, I'm first told 
it's a success, then I'm given a hint that insmod errors can be caused 
by incorrect module parameters, then it tells me I've failed.  I have 
Mandrake 9.0.  Any help would be appreciated.
