Subject: epson perfection 1260 problem

Hi,

I installed the latest SANE for Debian woody from
http://people.debian.org/~aurel32/index.html

Then I recompiled the kernel(2.4.18) with the USB_SCANNER support as a module.
After 'lilo -v' and a reboot, I did 'modprobe scanner' without error.

Then I think it's time to try a scan. So I did:

~# scanimage -L

and got:

device `plustek:libusb:001:002' is a Epson Perfection 1260/Photo USB
flatbed scanner

Good! Then I tried as root:

~# scanimage > test.pnm

I can see that the scanner lamp is lighted, and after a minute got one line output:

scanimage: sane_read: Error during device I/O

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Xiaolin
