I have a HP ScanJet 2200c. I m using the driver that cam with the
sane-backends-1.0.12 package. Installlation was simple but the images get
dark streaks in the same direction as the scan head moves. The streaks
appear mostly when the scanned image is dark but a white paper with text
for example gives no streaks. Also the streaks always have the same
position. I thougth the scaanner was broken until I tried it under windows
(without even moving the image testing with and the streaks disappeard).
Next I tried with an older version of SANE and now the streaks had
different positions. Is this a known problem? Is anyone else experiencing
this? Is there something in the config files to tune to get rid of it?
