I think the title explains it all...

I am an embedded systems software engineer with average experience. I have never worked
on SANE or Linux USB stack, however I think I can probably help for something. I read
there are concerns with color picture quality on the non-Plustek scanners. My skills
are mostly C and C++, and I know the GNU tools pretty well (compiler and binutils -
linker etc.).

So if you think I can be of some help, please drop me a line! I am motivated in challenging
myself for a good programming cause.
