Yes you are right, but that payload stuff is not that clear to me, like the
output, which you see in usbsnoop...

Hmmm, that's what I tried, but my usbsnoop 0.22 refuses to load it. Probably
some diffs between win98 and xp (although this does not sound very reasonable
to me...)
Can you do me a favoor and load it on your box, expand & mark everything, cut,
copy and paste it in a text document...

BTW, for me it's currently no clear, why sane-find-scanner is not able to
access the register in the CanoScan 660, but I remember some
startup problems on the LiDE devices too...
