Subject: Canon Lide 20

I've bought a canon lide 20 hoping for good linux support (as sane device page says)
but I've got a lot of problems.
Colors are not similar to the original, and I've seen that there's a way to increase
gamma to get a more useful image. How can I do that?
Is there any place where I can download a plustek.conf file that is suited perfectly
for
canon lide 20 scanner?
Another problem is that the scanner takes some seconds before scanning, with the carriage
going up and down (with a bit noise), and then it scans the image. Can I do something
to avoid that?
I'm using the latest unstable deb package of the backend, it must be the 0.46-test1,
how can I get
surely the backend version?
Thanks in advance for your beautiful work.
