Hello,

I have a Canon Lide 30, and it works pretty much out-of-the-box with
sane 1.0.13.

However, the scan quality is very poor (similar to some issue
discussed with the Lide 20 on this list recently).

I seem to be incapable of making the picture nice using brightness,
gamma, rbg-gain, etc.

Is this my fault, or is the driver not (yet) coping well with the Lide
30?
