Hi Gerhard,

I have just installed the SuSe 8.2 with Standardkernel.
It is a new installation, no update.
Now my question is, is there something what I must notice before I will bring 
in the Plustek 4831 Optic Pro Scanner in my SuSE.
In the past there were some changings what are not standing in the how tos or 
in the reading file.
Because I always had some problems  with my sane and xsane.
Because of this, I will ask first before I will installe the plustek-backend.

Please give me a message how I can bring in my scanner.
