Hello,
I am using a CanoScan N676U on linux kernel 2.6.1 using the scanner.o
module with sane-backends version 1.0.12.
Ocassionally the stepper motor in the scanner will try to push the
scanner to the edge of it's range, causing wierd noises. The scanner is
connected to my linux system through USB via a 4 port USB hub.
Is there any way I can manually calibrate the scanner so that it wont
try to go this far towards the edge?
I'm updating to version 1.0.13 now, maybe that will fix the problem.
