Hello, i´ve problems with install the Plustek-driver.
First: i use SUSE-Linux 7.0 with sane 1.04 and Plustek Opticpro9636Pro
parallelportscanner.
I install sane with yast1 from my Linux Pro.CD, that means it copy the
program in direktory named /usr/x11r6/bin/sane-config, 
/usr/x11r6/lib/sane, /usr/include/sane/.
now my problems: you wrote:
SANE-1.0.3 and higher already contain the backend. Users now only need
the driver. plustek-module-0 36 35.tar.gz 
when i startet this link the downloadbegin, but an error occured at the
end of download:

gunzip:/tmp/MO3A40562901902AA.tar:not in gzip format.
there is no datei in my tmp to find.

i hope you will help me, the SUSE Installsupport wrote tey dont support
these things.
