I've done everything that I have found on this site concerning
installing the plustek module.  Everything does fine except for the
"make load" due to unresolved symbols.  I tried recompiling it while
changing the "#if 0" to "#if 1" in the plustek_scan.h file, I tried
loading the parport and parport_pc modules. Did the "depmod -v" as also
suggested.

I'm at a loss here.  Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Oh yeah,
I'm running kernel 2.2.16-22, redhat 7.0 and havea sane-1.0.3.
