Subject: Scanning without lamp - how to?

Hi!

I'm thinking about a special application of my Plustek OpticPro 9600P:
I'd like to turn the lamp off while scanning, that means scanning
without light inside the scanner.
The reason is I need to scan some negatives of size 9x12cm (large
format). So you may ask "why does this guy don't use a transparency
scanner?" The simple answer: there is none scanning this size in
transparency mode...
The "transparency unit" would be a part of an enlarger put on top of
the negative, but to use this the internal light has to be turned off.

How has the driver to be modified to swith off the light?
