Subject: how to set parport mode?
From: Triteno

Hello,
I'm trying to set any mode faster than SPP, but I can't :-(
In BIOS I can select: SPP, ECP, EPP/SPP or ECP/SPP but doesn't
matter what I'm checking in Linux I've got
(in /proc/sys/dev/parport/parport0/modes) only PCSPP.
What else I can do? I've also set in modules.conf:
option parport mode=EPP
but I have't seen that in documentation so I don't think it is correct.
Do you know any way to brutally set mode of parport?
Triteno

ps. I'm using plustek 0_39_3, sane 1.0.5, kernel 2.4.4, glibc 2.2, RedHat 7.1
