Hi there,
Yes I had tried doing /sbin/modprobe pt_drv and it worked and I can use my
scanner already but still if I load using make load, the same problem is
still there, I am not sure how and why. I also knew that in your Makefile,
it directly points towards /sbin/modprobe but somehow it just doesn't work.
I sort of heard this has something to do with Redhat 7.1 security feature? I
am not really sure about it, probably Redhat can confirm this. Anyway,
thanks for the great driver for my scanner, and now I am happy to do
scanning fun. If there is any news and progression about the modprobe
problem, I will get back to you again.
Cheers,
Alimin
