Greg & list...,

Well ladies and gents, I posted some new screenshots I'm working on
for a release on Monday. I've probably gone as far as I will with it
this weekend as other work is calling. But the improvement is
aesthetically astounding. I almost flipped out when I saw the
menubar! Anyhow, the two additions I made this weekend had to do with
font type stuff. I've gotten all the problems figured out, and
implemented fixes for 90% of it. Just some latent width font
selection issues are still lying about. (Right now I'm only selecting
fonts based on height, later I'll add the selection by width
possibility) Also the other remaining piece of font support is "half
baked" SetTextAlign support. It's really once causing a 1 to 2 pixel
problem, but I'll probably finish it up this weekend as I've got most
of the code hacked out.

Anyhow, the screenshots are at
ftp://esdev.net/pub/fltk/scrshots/fontpass2 . You can also take a
look at fontpass1, which shows that font selection is now happening
based on request via the Win32 CreateFont call. You can compare to
the originals in the orig directory as well.

Anyhow, once font support is fully handled, then its on to some more
event type code, the menubars don't pop down on request. I have an
idea of why that is, but I don't have time to fix it this weekend.
We're really far down the trail though thanks to Gregs wizardry.

enjoy!
Shane.

(I'm going to put a source release together on monday, maybe tuesday)
