I note that there's no support for key modifiers in drivers/kbd_x11.c, and
in some of the other keyboard drivers;  wasn't there a debate over the
members of the structure GR_EVENT_KEYSTROKE, and the #defines to be used
for special keys, "content" (which members are valid), etc?  I wasn't able
to find the conclusion of the discussion, if there was one.

If these things are still up in the air, I wonder how likely are the APIs
to change...
