Subject: keyboard not working

I built microwindows 0.88 using the configuration file config.svga
When I run the demos (i.e. the terminal) the keyboard is ignored.
Any suggestion?

I'm using Linux kernel 2.2.15 (Mandrake 7.2) on a i386.
