I don't think this is the protocol issue that Morten is
having, this problem happens with Karl on startup
and repeats every time.  Morten's issue is related
to multiple requests occuring, IIRC.

I think this was probably correctly identified as a
startup problem that currently requires a sleep statement
to fix, and probably some new code for application
startup.
