Yes, yes, I was a little bit premature in my conclusion.... It was
painless building 2.4.0-pre12 using the kgcc (which, for the record is
really egcs 2.91.66). However, our friends at Redhat should note that
2.2.XX is becoming the exception and not the rule, since we are
confidently expecting 2.4.XX any decade now.
