Usage of the window manager
From: "Georg Potthast" ####@####.#### Date: 24 Jun 2011 19:52:50 -0000 Message-Id: <002201cc32a8$4c67fe40$6800a8c0@SCHREIBTISCHGP> I have compiled my apps with the -DNONETWORK=1 switch. They always cover the whole screen. I would like to get a decorated window with Nano-X. How is this possible? I tried the window-manager in the demos directory. Can I use that if I set -DNONETWORK=1? So far I only get a blue screen with a mouse. Georg | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

The window manager code is linked internal to the window server when the config file setting NANOWM=Y is set. This should allow the window manager code to run, which draws the window borders, in both LINK_APP_TO_SERVER and normal cases. : I tried the window-manager in the demos directory. It never creates any windows of its own other than for decorating another app window.
