Subject:
eCos compilation step for nano gui
From: Stefano Cordibella ####@####.#### Date: 5 Jun 2012 16:57:25 -0000 Message-Id: <4FCE3A21.8060001@edalab.it> Hi Greg, I check the patch reported in nx.pathc file and I think that are all integrated in release 0.92. I have tryed to compile the library for eCos, but I am a little bit confusing about the meaning of the ecos/cdl ecos/include and ecos/src folders. I put theese directory into my eCos repo, I add the package to the ecos.db, but when I try to compile eCos the microwindows.cdl require the compilation of a big part of the driver/ files. So I properly set the ECOS_PREFIX var in Arch.rules and I try to make the library, the libmw.a is correctly generated, but the eCos app won't compile with some network errors... My questions are: * what is the correct order of build? eCos first? library first? * are there some other files to put in eCos distro other than the 3 folder in ecos/ ? * both microwin and nanox API can be built for eCos? We have our own implementation of a framebuffer for our atmel board, with the previous graphic library that we used we don't need to put files into eCos distro, graphical library remain at higher application level. I hope I was clear enough. Best regards, Stefano. -- Dott. Stefano Cordibella --------------------------------------------- EDALab - Networked Embedded Systems C.S.
