I think the Gimp will do this ...

Google should turn up something on this if the Gimp will not work.

I have developed the application on microwindows which is on to ARM
processor and using the Embedded Linux OS,

Now i want to display the some icon on to screen,

I have icons which are *.bmp file. But i am not getting how to convert
these
bmp files to *.c file so that i can use these icons in my applications.

Can you help me in this regards,
