Try changing the "portrait" variable in drivers/scr_fb.c. I think I
added
an auto-detect feature that may be broken, or perhaps this was before I
fixed it. I don't have the source handy but you can check in the first
function where virtxres and virtyres are swapped. That code is controlled
by a local portrait variable or with a #ifdef PORTRAIT_MODE. Otherwise,
I suggest trying 0.88pre7.
