I'm using Microwin-0.89pre7, but I cann't find such function as
GrCopyArea(), neither by referencing the documentation nor
by checking source code.

Now I do this by first copying the area into a offscreen pixmap, then
drawing in this area. Copy the offscreen pixmap back anytime if needed.
Obviously this can cause problems when during this period the
contents of this area is changed.
