Thanks, that appears to have solved the immediate problems. Still loads
of warnings - but I'll ignore those like any good hacker would ;-)
Just so that others don't fall into the same traps as me:
1). Remember to 'export' those paths.
2). If test apps pop up in X (rather than NanoX) you'll have to redefine
your ld.so.conf to pick up the 'Nano'GTK shared lib. It has the same file
name as the real one... this also means that you can use Gnome as a devel
environment.
3). By exporting the location of gtk/glib-config I was able to build
GPA (GnuPG Assistant) without any changes to the source and this appeared
to run happily under NanoX - COOL!!
Who is handling the source for NanoGTK, in order to send in bug fixes?
Has anyone ported gdk-pixbuf? A quick attempt shows that it's dependant on
xlib.
