The Svgalib library can try to init the mouse, make sure this is
disabled in the svgalib config file. That's all I can think of. The
Microwindows Svga driver doesn't try to init the mouse, but it
could be happening anyway.
Any chance of reconfig'ing the kernel and using the fb or vesa drivers?
