Could anyone help me with this? How could I get a more detailed error-message? and where can I get information about the nano-X-switches? You may have problems with this if one user creates the file and then nano-X subsequently crashes if you try to run nano-X from another userid you will get this error. The most common reason for this is that you don't have the correct TTY devices available. Make sure that you have /dev/tty on your system, and that it points to the correct device.
