have you installed the kernel sources or at least the kernel include
files on your system?
In most cases /usr/include/asm is a link to /usr/src/linux/include/asm-i386
(on i386 architecure of course)
Installing the kernel sources or at least the kernel includes should help.
(don't know how the RPMs are called in Mandrake...)
