primax: Thread: get it via ftp

Hi

I've set up an ftp server on my box.
You can get the source code from ftp://wh2-229.st.uni-magdeburg.de/pub/primax
This machine is not always online - not if I'm sleeping. This means between 
2:00 til 11:00 CEST. You guess right, I'm a student :-).

WARNING!
This code is not easy to compile and install. 
It is only for developers to show how it works and for finding people helping 
me. 
The program primax_server has to be started as root befor starting the 
scanning program (i.e. XSane).
After that you can call Xsane (or other sane frontends).

The source is still a mess of code. Especially the backend code is nearly the 
whole sane code with all the other drivers. I had no time to write a clean 
Makefile and I do not really understand how to build it. So I recycled the 
sane stuff.
My next step is to clean up the code an write cool Makefiles.

Is there a make autoconf specialist ot there. This would help a lot.

So far... And I will now have a look at uklinux.net - Thanx for the hint ;-).
