Hi all

I recently downloaded primax_scan-0.93-Beta2.tgz and I get the same as
with the others I tried before, a bunch of meaningless lines of diferent
colors that are no where realated to whatever it is trying to scan.

I use Debian (woody) and have installed
ii libtiff3g 3.5.5-2 Tag Image File Format library
ii libtiff3g-dev 3.5.5-2 Tag Image File Format library,
development

The scan even fails (only lines of diferent colors) when I put nothing
inside the scaner.
I already turned tiff compression off (no diference), and the scaner
works perfect at windows.
My IC is LM9811CCV which it is supposed to be supported by the
primax_scan program.
Any ideas??
Thanks

Hector

hmmm... other programs using TIFF files work?

maybe there's another difference between the models, we don't know, yet.
do you have the 30 or 36Bit version of the scanner?
