primax: Thread: primax colorado 1200p info

Hi,

I own that scanner and I saw it wasn't working.
I've tried pxscan-0.41.
The lamp switches on, the motor runs, but i scan white pages.
I'll soon have some days to spend, i know how to program in C, and
i would like to try to modify pxscan.

My question is : how did you get tech. info. ? [I've even seen Primax sent 
you a total of 6 scanners]
Do you think Primax would agree on sending me enough info if I "politely" ask 
them?
In fact, i'd like to know how you did.
