primax: Thread: Scaner Genius ColorPage-Vivid Pro

Dear friends
I have a Genius ColorPage-Vivid Pro (Primax Direct 600, if I am not
wrong) and I have installed the primax_scan-0.93beta3 to try to make
this scanner work. Well, the instalation was made without any errors
messages, but when I start the program typing:   primax_scan -C 0 -S 150
-s 15 -d 8x8 -f teste.tiff the scanner lamp travells a few shorts stop
and go distances and then it travells a very short discance and stops.
When I change the size of the scannned area to -d 80x80, the distance
traveeld by the lamp is a little bit longer (about 1.18in) and then it
stops without to cover the whole area to be scanned. Furthermore, even I
had select -s 15, the lamp runs very  very slowly (I don't know what
units does 15 represents). The command to turn on or off the lamp is
working fine... :o) (what is good... worst would be if the lamp didn't
turnned off...). When I turn off the lamp I receive a message saing me: 
"Looks like a Primax Colorado Direct 600".
Do you have any idea what may be happening?
