primax: Thread: last try...

Hello experts,

since more than a month I am trying to get the PRIMX JEWEL 4800 SCSI 
scanner to work but without any positive result. I am close to sell it 
but before I do that I like to ask you if someone has a clue how to get 
this scanner up to work under linux. And if this is off topic on this 
list - you may point me to a place where I can ask my question.

Unfortunatly I don't know how I could help you, But what I can suggest is that 
what ever Linux flavour you are running try do get sane installed, it is a 
scanner software that supports many scanners and maybe but just maybe they may 
have drivers for your scanner.
