Hello everybody, 

I've just received another request for my old patch, so I've decided not to 
wait for including that in next release, but I placed it on my web page. 
Anybody interested please go to

download patch, follow the instructions and enjoy. 

This little patch can prevent you from "This Port does not support the 
EPP-Mode" error and provides options for loading and saving calibration data 
to speed-up scanning.

It's finally in the CVS now ... I just applied the patch tested it with
one scan and did a cvs commit ... so not checked the source or something
like this.
I am thinking about making a new Beta from the current cvs version since
there're quite a lot of new features.
