Primax problem on Mandrake 9 SOLVED !!!
From: ####@####.#### Date: 14 Nov 2002 23:17:18 -0000 Message-Id: <Pine.LNX.4.44.0211150002300.5922-100000@macchinetta> All right, so by using the latest primax CVS all I have to do is the following: ./configure make make install cd /etc/sane.d insert 'primax' in dll.conf modprobe ppdev The problems I had before were caused by absence of ppdev ... and to kernel 2.4.19 incompatibility with the old standalone. And voilà ! As ordinary user I can use the scaner with xsane.
