Hi,

scanning with primaxscan, saneprimax and xsane works fine as root on 
debian-testing.

scanning as normal user fails:
|$ primaxscan 
|Could not unlock IO ports. Are you superuser?

Formerly scanning was able for all users, but i forgott the changes I made for 
this. Can you please show me the way?

I think that one method, unsafe but works, is to use: chmod +s primaxscan
