Hello all,

today I successfully tested pk2cmd on my SuSe 10.0 system.

I downloaded binary version of pk2cmd for 2.6 kernel - so no compilation at all. And then I just created the file/etc/udev/rules.d/26-microchip.rules with the following content.

#PICKit2
SUBSYSTEM=="usb_device", ACTION=="add", SYSFS{idVendor}=="04d8",SYSFS{idProduct}=="0033", SYMLINK+="pickit2-%k"

Then re-started udev daemon and plugged in the PicKit-2. No need to restart the whole machine.

I uploaded new 2.31 firmware and programmed target device PIC16F676.

So - good news to everybody, I hope.

Best Regards,
Vaclav
