There have been a few problems with several versions of the 0.36
series. Right now Gerhard is on vacation until about the 16th. I
am testing a new version which he will release after he returns.
For now, you can either go back to 0.35, or check in
../h/plustek_scan.h for a line that says "#if 0" followed by a
bunch of "#define ...". If this line is present, change the 0 to a
1 and rebuild the driver. This may fix the problem.
