Subject: assabet and Linux

Hi Greg ,
Do you know how to set up the frame buffer for the assabet (intel SA1110
evaluation board)? 
I am trying to use my PC to display microwindows. My linux is Redhat 6.2 so
it is using kernel 2.2. But after I follow the microwindows instruction to
config the Microwindows, I could not run the demo. It says " Error open
dev/fb0, no such a device. Check kernel config..."
Do you have any suggestion?

Woo-hoo, an easy question!  In the config file, you need to change the
line
X11                      = N

to

X11                      = Y

and it will work.  Either that, or reconfigure your kernel to have
framebuffer support.
