Any one on this list ever gotten the driver to work in FreeBSD? I am going to
start trying as soon as I get time. Any help/pointers in advance would be
appreciated.

Regards,

Mark.

I don't think so!
But feel free to make it work. You may only apply changes to the file pt_drv.c
where the module interface is implemented and not use the procfs stuff...
If you have success, I'd like to add your patches...

Good luck
Gerhard

Hi,

I have a PlustekOptic Pro 4800P on a parallel-port.
This is what scanimage -L says:

device `plustek:/dev/pt_drv' is a Plustek 600P/6000P flatbed scanner

Well, the grayscan works great but the colorscan is only green and very blurred:

I sit on Debian Woody, Kernel 2.4.17, however I had the same problem with Mandrake 8.1.

Assuming you're using the latest driver (0.41) you can
use the mov=6 switch as option for your kernel module.
This should help...

Gerhard

BTW: Please reply to the list if necessary

Thx.
However, with mov=6 was no change, mov=2 was the solution :-)
