Yes, tcl's dieing a slow death, tk is the more long-lasting offshot.  I
mentioned DejaGnu because it may offer more than the existing framework,
and it is quite common so people popping their heads into this project
for a few nights may find it easier to contribute.

Buildbot can be useful to build and test upon commit, including if
there's different configuration options.  http://buildbot.net/trac
